okay...even after a dispiriting cowboy loss...and a saints win that energized the fan base...the cowboys fans re-acted and came through when it got close....i am proud of them .if the saints fan cant win in these circumstances...the cowboys are still the ark-la-tex team...i cant imagine any circumstances more favorable to the saints fan...but our fans gathered themselves and responded,we are pulling away again, even though we are angry at the cowboys last flat game...thats what true fans do ...we dont wear bags...we get over it and find the love for our team ...no matter the circumstances.
sweldon....in answer to your ridiculous challenge..why gamble when you have already won?.you dont get it..we love our team ,win or lose....thats why we are consistent draws...did you know the cowboys have a current streak of playing to sellout crowds in over 80 games...on the road ,and home, an nfl record...we were not always great during this nfl record streak...no, the nfl fans in america wanted to see our team no matter the records... (so do we).hence AMERICAS TEAM.our great franchise has convinced the nation with long, sustained excellence that they are worth following. maybe one day your team will inspire that kind of loyalty...and if the saints are a little better at the halfway point in the season,we will crown you halfway champions. the patriots went 16-0, i'll guarantee you a multi championship team like the cowboys, steelers, or pats, will tell you that was a disappointing season. you deserve congratulations ,enjoy your world halfway championship ... but, you never count your money while your sitting at the table.. further,will you give up on the season if you lose to the cowboys..or will your season be a success if you lose to the cowboys, and win the superbowl..i will take any loss and a superbowl now!...and why should we accept a winner take all bet on dec. 19...unless we lost the poll...why would we gamble what we have already won? OKAY im going to try to explain this records and TV thing..you are 8-0..more importantly in 1st.., (as are we,do our teams get rings for that?)..our local texarkana phantom team won about 20 straight, so did your shreveport steamers.....but THEY ARE NOT ON TV, IT DOESNT PAY, THE MAJORITY WONT WATCH.. to take it further ..they both folded...GET IT?? kmss goes for the ratings, or they go out of business....they fold... like those undefeated teams. the state has to support the saints to keep them viable...its football welfare..THATS IT...you cant make your own rules.. its CAPITALISM..MONEY TALKS..bullkrap walks....kmss has to make a profit...they are going with the biggest draw...so keep bulding from 8-0...its a good start on a very long road. i know we are benefiting from our teams history...the public gives us the benefit of the doubt...the saints organization has a lot of catching up to do. the yankees were down a little for a decade, but they were still the big draw, history matters. and it matters more than how you might be faring at the moment... im sorry, it just does.(p.s the yankees won...history and the public were right to stick with them)
go through all the comments and count the number of saint supporters who say they love to see the cowboys lose,or my second favorite team is whoever plays the cowboys...then look for the cowboys fans saying things like that...the ratio is skewed...reminds me of the howard sterns phenomenon. like the cowboys, he was very polarizing, but those who liked him were asked why they watched him...the answer...to see what he does next...those who hated him were asked the same question....the answer to see what he does next...like or dislike...the cowboys are a big story across time...people watch to see them win...they watch to see them lose...but they watch ,and the hatred is flattery...jerry jones loves it..folks like that play right into jerrys hands...it makes the cowboys even more relevant...its hard to find folks who hate the saints or the lions...but not the cowboys...get it??we are the new york yankees..you guys are more akin to our rangers..in the big picture the saints are like a gnat on a buffaloes back (to the cowboys). it will take more than one or two good seasons to change that. but who knows...25 or 35 years from now..i guess its within the realm of possibility...but certainly not now.

darshiva 420 are you going to go postal if they show the cowboys? you are really humorous. but folks will take you seriously when you learn to speak the king's english, and put forward rational and well reasoned arguments. there really is no need to be so angry at kmss 33. they just want to serve their customer base. it profits them to show programming to the largest viewing base. i think that a sampling of this magnitude will put the issue to rest. now, whether or not you can deal with the results........
wow......the larger the vote, the larger the referendum for the winner. i hope this settles it for awhile, it is certainly showing kmss that the cowboy fans are a majority...i know the saints fans are vocal, but they are again a vocal minority.... saint fans can try again next year...as the saints are good this year and they do have a shot at the superbowl, as does an improving cowboys squad...its not how you play in november...romo is undefeated in november....its all about playing well when it counts...and no matter all the bravado going around, none of us knows who will step up in the playoffs.or for that matter, how the ball itself will bounce.
well...it sure looks like the kmss viewing area is really getting into this vote..over 10,000 votes and counting...this is going to be a very large and representative sampling. i am sure kmss is suprised by the reponse to this poll verses former polls. i think they did a great job by letting this poll run for a whole week to make certain they did get an accurate reading on their viewerships preference and breakdown. kmss has to respond and serve its entire viewing audience. they are doing this poll to guage the desires of that audience...the vote of the majority....just good business.....and the american way.
