Monday, September 30, 2013 - 1:27pm

Georgia's Aaron Murray has been named the Davey O'Brien Quarterback of the Week after a thrilling 44-41 victory over Southeastern Conference Western Division rival LSU.

Murray was phenomenal in the Georgia Bulldogs' third game against a top-10 team, throwing 298 yards and four touchdowns on 20-of-34 passes. He also ran for a score. The fifth-year senior was perfect on the Bulldogs' final drive, completing 4-of-4 passes, including a 25-yard touchdown pass to Justin Scott-Wesley for the win.

"Aaron (Murray) was phenomenal," said Georgia head coach Mark Richt. "He kept answering every score with another great play or throw. He played so well...he did super."

Murray and the Bulldogs will look to keep the momentum going next weekend when they travel to Knoxville, Tenn. to take on the Tennessee Vols.
