UPDATE: Timothy Mathew, 22, of the 2600 block of Via Caballero in Santa Fe, New Mexico, was booked into the Shreveport City Jail on one count each of simple robbery, resisting an officer, and attempted simple escape.
On August 7, 2012, shortly after 3:30 p.m., Louisiana State Police Troop G responded to a two vehicle crash involving a motorcycle on Sligo Road about one mile west of Louisiana Highway 157 that claimed the life of an Oklahoma man.
UPDATE: Officials tell us the body recovered from Evangeline Parish has been taken to the FACES lab here in Baton Rouge for identification. We’re told it could take a day or two to officially ID the remains.
