Shreveport, LA (KMSS) — A local woman is recovering from injury Thursday night after being shot following an alleged argument in Shreveport's Sunset Acres neighborhood.
Just after 5:00 p.m., Shreveport police were called to a home in the 6000 block of Bowie Street in response to a woman who had been shot.
Wen officers arrived at the home, the victim was identified as Dorothy Johnson, 54.
Johnson, who was conscious upon the arrival of first responders, had an apparent gunshot wound to the upper body.
