LUFKIN, TX — A mother was arrested for public intoxication after she showed up disoriented at the Angelina County DPS Office Tuesday afternoon.

The woman, 25-year-old Laricia Antionette Young, was arrested around 12:46 p.m. in the office lobby, located at 2800 South John Reddit Drive, after officials believed she was high on PCP. Drug paraphernalia and a small amount of drugs were found on her.

Deputies also discovered Young had five children in her car at the time of the offense.

Young is charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and public intoxication. Her bonds total $11,000.
