Warrant issued for suspect in north Shreveport shooting

A local man is now being sought by police in connection with a shots fired incident which occurred last week in north Shreveport.

Back on July 13, 2014, Shreveport Police patrol officers were called to the 2700 block of Jerome Lane relative to a “Shots Fired” call. Upon officer’s arrival at the scene, information was gathered indicating a dispute between relatives led to shots being fired inside the home. During that time, 26 year old Terrance Jackson sustained a single gunshot wound to the foot. Information was gathered indicating Jackson was shot by a family member who reportedly left the scene following the shooting. Jackson's injuries were considered non-life-threatening and he is expected to fully recovery.

Since the investigation, Shreveport Police Violent Crimes investigators assigned to the case have gathered information and evidence linking 20 year old Devin D. Marshall, of Shreveport to the shooting. Marshall, who has been named as a suspect in the incident, is wanted an outstanding arrest warrant for the charges of Illegal Use of a Weapon and Convicted Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
