SHREVEPORT, LA — A domestic dispute turned violent Friday morning when a woman shot her live-in boyfriend.

At around 8:15 a.m., officers were dispatched to a house in the 1700 block of Alma Street to a shooting. Upon arrival, police found Kelvin Wright, 21, suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper right arm. He was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

Detectives later discovered Wright and his girlfriend, who live together, were involved in an argument when the woman allegedly pulled out a gun and shot him once in the arm. Investigators are working still searching for her.
