UPDATE: Shreveport woman missing since August 1 found safe

UPDATE: A local woman reported missing has been located. On August 13,2012, authorities with the Shreveport Police Department sought the help of the public in locating 33 year old Natasha Farris of the 1700 block of Caroline Street in Shreveport.

Farris was originally reported missing by her family after she had not been seen or heard from since the early part of August of this year. Farris was located after her image was broadcast on televison. A viewer notified authorities of Farris' possible whereabouts, at which time responding officers were successful in locating Farris in west Shreveport. Farris was found safe and reporting family members were notified.

The Shreveport Police Department needs your help to find a local woman who has not been seen since early this month.

Natasha Farris has been missing since August 1, 2012 when she was last seen by relatives in the 1700 block of Caroline Street in Shreveport. Ms. Farris left her residence there to visit friends and has not been seen or heard from since. Ms. Farris is described as a black female who stands about five feet three inches tall, weighs approximately 180 pounds and has brown eyes and black hair.

Detectives are concerned for the welfare Ms. Morgan, who has no apparent health issues, and want to make sure she is safe.
