A DeSoto Parish man is accused of stabbing two children over the weekend.
At around 10:40 p.m. on Saturday, officer were dispatched to a home in the 3000 block of Dallas Street to reports of a stabbing. When police arrived, they found a 17-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl with stab wounds. Both teens were taken to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Investigators believe 42-year-old Darron Jack attacked the teenagers over loud music. The teens' mother allegedly had asked Jack to turn his music down and he became enraged toward her, and when the children stepped in between, he stabbed them.
Jack, of Gloster, then left the scene before authorities arrived and was caught a short time later when he returned to the house. He was taken to a local hospital for an unspecified problem.
He was arrested up on release from the hospital and charged with two counts of aggravated battery. He has been booked into the Shreveport City Jail.
