Trejo's Mexican Restaurant robbed at gunpoint

Monday night, just before 9, the Trejo's Mexican Restaurant in Bossier City was robbed at gun point.

The restaurant, in the 2100 block of Airline Drive was still open when 2 individuals, wearing ski masks and holding a long gun, possibly a shot gun, entered through the side door and demanded money from an employee there. The employee gave an undisclosed amount of money, before running away from the suspects.

There were customers in the restaurant, but they did not realize it was being robbed. There were no injuries that resulted from this robbery.

Bossier City Police Department sent over a k-9 unit, which was able to follow the scent for a while, but eventually lost it, meaning the suspects probably got into a car.

This robbery and the suspects involved sound strikingly similar to the ones that have recently been plaguing Shreveport. Bossier Police are aware of these similarities, and have been in contact with Shreveport Police Department, but so far, there is no real determination if these incidents are connected.
