Tornado moves through the ArkLaTex early this morning

From the National Weather Service:

An EF1 tornado touched down around 12:30AM this morning (Saturday July 27th) in Red River Parish, just east of the Red River, about a mile south of the Bossier/Red River Parish line on HWY 515. 

The damage path mainly consisted of both hardwood and softwood trees snapped and uprooted.  However, one home sustained significant roof damage from fallen trees along HWY 71. 

The tornado was up and down along a ten mile path.  It was nearly a mile wide at its widest point along Springhill Church Road.  Max wind speeds of 100-110 MPH were estimated along the path.
