Grambling, La (NBC33) — A shooting at Grambling State University has sent three of its students to an area hospital.
At around 7:15 p.m. on April 15, a fight broke out near one of the campus dorms. The scuffle quickly escalated into gunfire.
Campus police were immediately contacted.
Tracy Lamar Greene Jr., 19, of Marrero, was sent to Ruston General Hospital with a bullet wound in his lower leg. Brandon Cooper, 21, was shot in his right forearm and his left thigh. Jarion Walker, 20, of Westwego, also has wounds in his leg.
Authorities have stated that the surrounding community has nothing to worry about, and the situation is under control. However, no information has been released on any suspects or arrests.
