Timpson, Texas (KMSS) — Another earthquake hit the Timpson area in East Texas early Friday morning.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the earthquake was a magnitude 2.4 on the Richter scale, and hit about two kilometers west of Timpson.
This marks the third earthquake to hit that region in less than a week.
According to the USGS, the quake could be felt in Timpson and Garrison.
