Suspects arrested for battery at Caddo Parish bar

Caddo Sheriff's detectives arrested two Doddridge, Arkansas, men after a fight at a local bar sent one to the hospital early Saturday morning.

Deputies were called to the Magnolia Club in Rodessa just before 3:00 a.m. Timothy Taylor, 22, had been cut on the neck and torso and was treated at University Health for his injuries.

Detective Andy Scoggins said several people were standing outside the business after closing when they were approached by Taylor and another person. Taylor threw several punches at the group. During the altercation, Adam Lee Terry pulled an object from his pocket and confronted Taylor. Taylor ran away and was chased by Terry. The two fought in the parking lot before Taylor jumped in a car and fled.

Terry, 24, was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center for aggravated second-degree battery. After treatment of his injuries, Taylor was booked into CCC on three counts of simple battery.

The investigation is ongoing.
