Shreveport, LA — A local man who allegedly robbed a west Shreveport dollar store last spring is behind bars.
Authorities arrested 22 year old Kenneth Webster this week with out incident after he was identified as the suspect who robbed the Family Dollar Store in the 600 block of West 70th Street back on April 24, 2012. Webster allegedly entered the business there armed with a handgun and demanded money from the clerk at gunpoint. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled the scene of the crime on foot. No one was injured during the robbery.
Webster, of the 7200 block of Bernstein Avenue in Shreveport, was booked into the Shreveport City Jail on one count of armed robbery with a firearm. His bond has been set at $150,000.
