Surveilance video released of Shreveport gas station robber

Authorities have released video footage recovered from an armed robbery of a Shreveport business on yesterday.

Shreveport Police Robbery investigators are seeking information on the identity of a suspect who, on November 12, 2012 at approximately 1:10 p.m., entered the Mobil station at 3100 Bert Kouns and robbed the clerk at gunpoint.

The suspect, who is described as a black male, wearing a black hoodie, white t-shirt, black baseball cap and armed with a black semi-auto handgun, entered the store, walked toward the ATM, then walked behind the counter, demanded the clerk open the register and give him the money. The clerk complied and placed the money into a black and white duffle bag. The suspect fled the scene on foot towards the Seasons Apartments.
