Superior Bar and Grill robbed by 3 armed bandits

Shreveport police are on the hunt for three alleged bandits who robbed a local business late Sunday night.

At 11 p.m., employees at the Superior Bar and Grill were walking to their vehicles after closing the business for the night, when a trio of robbers jumped from behind a car with a gun and knives.

According to witnesses, the thieves forced the workers back inside and robbed them of their belongings. At least one of the unknown men took an undisclosed amount of money from the businesses safe. All three robbers then ran from the scene. No one was injured during the incident.

The bandits are described as three black males, all between 5' 10" to 6' tall. The gunman was said to be wearing a camouflage mask over his face, wore dark jeans and a dark hooded sweatshirt. The other two men were wearing dark clothing and armed with knives.

Investigators are awaiting surveillance footage from the business which is expected to aid in the identification and apprehension of the suspects.
