ArkLaTex — After a rainy and cool day with some northern areas even seeing some sleet, tomorrow will be an active weather day across the ArkLaTex. A few scatered showers and storms are possible during the morning hours, some of which could occur during the morning commute. However, stronger and more widespread storms are likely during the late morning and early afternoon.
With those storms comes the threat of some storms being strong to severe. Main threats will be damaging winds, large hail (1in), heavy rain, and frequent lightning. The threat for a few, isolated tornadoes exists as well, but is not as high as the threats mentioned above. Areas that have the best chance of seeing severe storms will be areas along and south of I-20. Elsewhere will likely see good rain and thunderstorms, but the severe threat looks best along and south of I-20.
