Team Cajunbot didn't place in the Department of Defense's Grand Challenge but they did receive an award of another kind for their efforts.

Team Cajunbot was welcomed and awarded by one of their top fans--Louisiana's Governor Kathleen Blanco, for their efforts in the DARPA's Grand Challenge in California

"Since my first year as Governor I had been watching them and cheering for them all of this time so I'm one of their cheerleaders and one of their fans" stated Gov. Kathleen Blanco.

Although Team Cajunbot's Raginbot didn't bring home the two million dollar prize, the team leaders were satisfied with the fact that the team's hardwork didn't go unnoticed.

"To come back and realize that people have been watching and recognize our hard work have been really, really nice" stated Arun Lakhotia.

Team Cajunbot was eliminated from the competition when the Raginbot went off the designated course.
