Flooding and a power failure at Fair Park High school prompted release of students from class this morning.

The heavy rains that moved through Shreveport this morning caused flooding in the cafeteria and a power outage at the campus on Greenwood Rd.  Superintendent Dr. Gerald Dawkins suspended classes for the school today.

Students from Loyal College Prep school in Shreveport were also sent home this morning because of power outage.
