Shreveport, La — Authorities need your help in identifying and apprehending two suspects who robbed a west Shreveport convenience store early this morning.
At approximately 4:03 a.m. on January 29, 2013, Shreveport Police patrol officers responded to a reported armed robbery at the Circle K in the 6000 block of West 70th Street. A witness told investigators that two male suspects, one being either a white or Hispanic male with a thin build wearing a black bandana over his face, a dark colored hoodie, and dark gloves, barged in the store armed with a black handgun and demanded money from the clerk. A second suspect, described as a black male standing approximately five feet eight inches tall to six feet, demanded the clerk hand over cigarettes from behind the counter. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money along with multiple cartons of cigarettes, the suspects fled the scene of the crime on foot. No one was injured during this robbery.
Detectives are optimistic that upon the release of surveillance footage from the business, the identities of those responsible for this crime will be revealed.
