Shreveport, La — A Shreveport Police officer has been placed on administrative leave this morning by Chief of Police Willie Shaw following allegations of alleged policy violations.

Officer Mitchell Hackett, who was hired by the department in July of 2012, has been placed on paid administrative leave in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Shreveport Fire and Police Civil Service Board.
