Shreveport, La — Authorities are investigating an overnight shooting that left a Shreveport man dead.
Just before 7:00 p.m., on Sunday, officers responded to a home in the 3700 block of Dilg League Drive after receiving reports of a dead person.
When police made it to the scene, they found a man, later identified as Timothy Anderson, 41, of Shreveport. Authorities believe Anderson died after being shot several times. His body has been sent for autopsy.
Information along with other evidence gathered by detectives suggests that Anderson may have known his attacker and that the shooting was not a random act.
