Shreveport man claims he was stabbed by family member

A Shreveport man is allegedly stabbed by a family member during an argument Thursday night.

At 10:54 p.m., officers were dispatched to a local hospital's emergency room suffering from minor stab injuries to his mid-section. When police arrived at the hospital, the victim, Jarrarcea Williams, 28, told officers he had been stabbed by a family member while at a house located on the 2000 block of Stanley Street.

Witnesses of the alleged crime reported a similar story detectives. As the investigation into this matter continues, authorities are working to pinpoint the whereabouts of the person responsible for this crime.
