Shreveport, LA (KMSS) — Shreveport Police have arrested a local man after a shooting Saturday morning at an apartment home.
Police responded to a local hospital after a man, with multiple gun shot wounds, was admitted.
While at the hospital, police discovered that Jamarian Peoples, 26, of Shreveport, had been shot multiple times in his upper body while inside an apartment home at the 6700 block of Buncombe Road.

Shreveport Police Violent Crimes detectives and Crime Scene personnel were dispatched to the scene of the crime. Information gathered by Peoples revealed that he was inside the apartment shared by him and his girlfriend.
Peoples said his girlfriend came home with another man who has been identified as Torrance Bedford Jr., 22, of Shreveport. The two men then got into a fight and Bedford allegedly pulled out a hand gun and shot Peoples multiple times.
