Aseana Foundation is holding its 7th annual Spring Festival this weekend at the Asian Gardens in Shreveport.

The festival is a chance for people to have fun while learning about culture and viewing the Asian Garden.

Organizers and volunteers say they're proud of what the garden looks like now compared to how barren it was just few years ago.

"We worked all year long to make the park look beautiful, and especially this spring time. we've never seen such spring blooms since we started the park."

The group festival usually has a different theme each year.

This year they're highlighting Chinese culture.

Hundreds to over a thousand people are expected to attend the festival.

There will be dancing, food, and other demonstrations.
