Second arrest made in fatal Shreveport home invasion
Shreveport, La — A second arrest has been made in a home invasion that claimed the life of a Shreveport man.
Detectives with the Shreveport Police Department's Violent Crimes Unit have arrested 22 year old Lamario Laws of Shreveport after a Caddo District Judge signed a warrant for his arrest on yesterday. Laws is accused of being one of several suspects responsible for a deadly home invasion that claimed the life of 22 year old Noah Randle back on September 2, 2012. Noah Randle was shot and killed after walking in on a home invasion in progress at an apartment home in the 3200 block of Knight Street.
Following interviews with authorities, LaMario Laws was taken into custody at police headquarters and booked into the Shreveport City Jail. Laws is charged with one count of second degree murder and is currently being held on 500,000.00 dollars bond. The investigation into this case continues, as additional arrests are expected.
