SHREVEPORT, La. (KMSS) — Shreveport City Officials are taking another route before making any repairs to city streets.
The City plans to hire a firm to help study street conditions.
Trans Map corporation will lead the project and will consist of special devices to read roadways to rate the streets on a good and bad scale.
Officials say the pavement condition rating will identify the needs of the roadway system and will provide a more detail description on what needs to be done.
The project is expected to cost the city around $650,000.
