Police arrest 3 in Shreveport vehicle burglary case

Three suspects are in police custody following a vehicle burglary that occurred in west Shreveport Monday morning.

Just before three a.m. this morning, Shreveport Police Patrol Officers were called to a home located in the 6200 block of Greenwood Road relative to a concerned citizen who was witnessing what appeared to be a vehicle burglary in progress. Upon officers arrival to the scene, three offenders that had been observed breaking into a vehicle and removing items, were apprehended after a brief foot pursuit. Authorities also managed to recover multiple items that were stolen during the burglary. The stolen items were returned to the rightful owner.

The suspects captured in the act were identified as: 17 year old Laroyce Daniel-Brown, 17 year old Jeremy Bell, along with a 14 year old male juvenile, all of Shreveport. Following their arrests, the troublesome trio was transported to the Shreveport City Jail.

Bell was charged with two counts of vehicle burglary, while Daniel-Brown was charged with two counts of Accessory after the fact of Vehicle burglary. The 14 year old juvenile was charged with two counts of vehicle burglary and later booked into the Caddo Juvenile Detention Center.
