Shreveport, La — Police have issued a warrant for a Shreveport man who is accused of shooting a man on the west side of the city last week.
Detectives are charging Robert “Raphael” Clark, 24, of Shreveport, with one count of attempted second degree murder in connection with the shooting of Kortez Hobley, 20, back on September 14. The men had allegedly been involved in a dispute at a convenience store near the intersection of Linwood Avenue and West 70th Street.
When Hobley left the scene in a vehicle, Clark allegedly followed in another car, pulling up beside the victim and firing multiple shots at him, hitting him in the leg. Hobley was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
Officers arrested Kijafa Edwards, 20, of Shreveport, for one count of principal to attempted second degree murder. Investigators believe Edwards was driving the car that Clark was riding in at the time he shot Hobley. Clark’s bond has been set at $500,000.
Police believe Clark is armed and dangerous and are asking anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of Robert “Raphael” Clark to contact Shreveport-Caddo Parish Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373 or www.lockemup.org
