If you saw a hot dog driving around the streets of Shreveport, your eyes weren't playing a trick on you.

The Oscar Meyer Wienermobile, driven by Jess Grillin, spent Thursday and Friday visiting various hot spots around the city, delighting children of all ages.

The first Wienermobile rolled out in 1936, and other than a quick break during WWII, has been bringing smiles in its travels.

Each year, the Wienermobile travels about 40,000 miles, all the while, playing the Oscar Meyer song.
