One arrested for killing Baton Rouge man; second suspect wanted

One man has been arrested and a second suspect is wanted for allegedly shooting a Baton Rouge man to death while he was sitting on his front porch.

The Baton Rouge Police Department reports that Leonard Brown, 29, of Baton Rouge was arrested and charged with Second-Degree Murder and Aggravated Damage to Property. He’s believed to be responsible for the death of Emanuel Hicks, 23, on Tuesday, April 9.

Although detectives have not released information relative to the motive of the shooting, they have said that a second suspect is believed to be connected to this incident. They have not, however, provided any information relative to the individual’s identity.
