Shreveport, LA (KMSS) — For the 5th year, Evangel and LSU alum, Jacob Hester is holding a football camp for Shreveport's youth.
Knowing that only 1% of child players will make it to the NFL, Hester ensures that he camp is full of both fun and skills for the young players.
Having grown up in Shreveport, Hester couldn't think of any place else he would rather have his camp. Shreveport and Louisiana are still considered home for the Denver Broncos fullback.
All of the children at the camp are excited to be getting coach by an NFL player, but about half wouldn't be at the camp if not for the help of sponsor Landers Dodge in Bossier City, who paid the entrance fees for about 40 of the participants.
