Shreveport, LA (KMSS) — A grand jury has indicted 28 year old Stacey Blount on a charge of first degree murder.
Shreveport Police allege that on November 10, 2011, Blount kidnapped 68 year old Rose Coleman of Shreveport from a local casino and killing, before taking her to an empty parking lot on Mansfield and leaving her body.
Blount was arrested in Natchitoches, when police found her driving Coleman's car. She was brought to Shreveport, where police arrested her on a charge of 2nd degree murder, as well as other lesser charges.
The grand jury believes Blount may have planned the crime in advance, and so chose the harsher murder charge.
