Man wanted for brother's murder caught
Shreveport, La — The suspect accused of killing a man last week in Shreveport is now in police custody following his arrest in Bossier City, Louisiana.
Randy Anderson, 23, of Shreveport, was arrested Monday evening by Bossier City Police officers after receiving information from Shreveport police officials that Anderson was believed to be at a location inside their jurisdiction.
Shortly after 6:00 p.m., Bossier City authorities found the suspect in the 400 block of Mansfield Street during a traffic stop. Anderson was booked into the Bossier City Jail as a fugitive.
Anderson was taken to the Shreveport City Jail on a warrant, where he was booked on a second degree murder charge. Anderson was wanted in connection with the death of his brother Timothy Anderson, 41, who was shot multiple times inside a home on Dilg League Drive on Saturday. Anderson’s bond is set at $250,000.
