
Eunice, La (NBC33) — The Eunice Police Department received information that Fredrick Stevens, 28, was selling crack cocaine from his vehicle.
Fredrick was driving a purple-colored Suburban and he was on his way to make a delivery of crack cocaine. Officerspulled him over for driving without a seat belt.
A K-9 unit was then summoned; Stevens then stated that he wanted to cooperate. He told officers that he was transporting crack cocaine and the narcotics was store near his rectum area. Stevens then reached to his rear and removed a package of crack cocaine and threw it to the ground.
The six grams of crack cocaine was then seized as evidence and tested positive.
Stevens was charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule 2 CDS (crack cocaine), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Violation of the Uniform CDS Law (Drug Free Zone).
