Shreveport — A local man is behind bars after he allegedly shot at a woman during an argument.
At approximately 10:12 p.m. on July 8, 2014, Shreveport Police patrol officers were dispatched out to a residence in the 700 block of West 69th Street relative to a shooting. Upon arrival there, officers contacted an adult female who reported a known male suspect fired at least one shot at her during the course of a dispute between the two relative to a rental vehicle. The suspect fled the area prior to officer arrival.
Just after noon on July 9, 2014, patrolmen responded back to the home on West 69th Street regarding a report of the suspect returning to the scene of the crime. Upon arrival, authorities took 49 year old Kenneth Parker into custody without incident. Parker, of the 6400 block of Quillen Boulevard in Shreveport, was subsequently booked into the Shreveport City Jail on one count of attempted second degree murder.
