LSU pays offensive coordinator at odd time

BATON ROUGE— Officials at Louisiana State Univeristy have decided to give Offensive Coordinator Gary Crowton a 50,000 dollar pay raise to $450,0000.

The timing of the raise has many around the state raising an eyebrow.

The raise comes on the heels of a 13-3 loss to the Florida Gators.

The three points scored was the lowest total since 2002 against Alabama.
