SHREVEPORT, La. (KMSS) — Manda Packing Company is recalling over 20,000 pounds of roast beef deli meat that could possibly be contaminated with listeria monocytogenes which could cause listeriosis, a potentially fatal disease.
The Baker, Louisiana based company says that products were packed on February 27th and shipped to retail deli stores in Louisiana, Texas, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Illinois, and Tennessee.
Meats recalled include: Four Star Roast Beef, Four Star Cajun Roast Beef, Cajun Prize Roast Beef, Manda Supreme Natural Roast Beef, Manda Natural Roast Beef, Manda Supreme Roast Beef, Manda Whole Wet Pack Roast Beef and Manda New Orleans Style Roast Beef.
So far, no illnesses have been reported by consumers of those products.
