Baton Rouge, LA — The Department of Education today announced the dates and locations for State Superintendent of Education John White’s upcoming Louisiana Believes tour. This tour will focus on discussing several major initiatives happening across the state such as the Early Childhood Network pilots, Course Choice, Advanced Placement expansion, and work to reform Louisiana’s diploma system.
“I look forward to visiting parishes around the state to see, firsthand, the great work that our educators and students are doing and to discussing the exciting work we will be doing in the upcoming school year with members of these communities,” said State Superintendent John White.
Superintendent White will visit early childhood centers participating in the Early Childhood Network pilot and speak with teachers, education leaders, and stakeholders working to unifying the previously fragmented Pre-K system.
