Shreveport Detectives Are Looking For The Man Who Pulled A Knife On A Manager Of Wal-Mart While Shoplifting Dvds. Officers Say On March 22nd In The 1100 Block Of Shreveport Barksdale A Black Male Put Dvds In His Shopping Cart As If He Were Going To Buy Them. From There He Went Into The Toy Section Of The Store And Placed The Dvds In His Pants

Then He Left The Shopping Cart There And Then Walked Into The Men's Restroom In The Front Of The Store And Removed The Plastic And The Bar Code Censors From The Dvds, Disposed Of Those. Then He Went Outside Of Wal-Mart And Exited The Store.
Detectives Say It Was When The Suspect Was Stopped By An Employee In The Parking Lot That The Incident Turned From A Simple Theft To An Armed Robbery.

The Gentleman Turned Around And Took Out What Appeared To Be A Knife In His Hand. He Pushed The Manager And Swung The Knife At The Manager In His Direction And Then Fled The Scene With The Dvds.
No One Was Injured During The Incident. Detectives Say The Suspect Is 6 Feet Tall, Weighs Approximately 170 Pounds And Looks To Be In His 40's.
