The 10th Female Ever To Serve With The Shreveport Police Thanked Her Peers And Promised To Be Not Only The Best Woman, But The Best Officer That She Could Be.

I Am A Police Officer And That I Why I Am Standing Before You Today. I Have Faced The Challenges And I Will Continue To Face The Challenges Brought On By Chief Whitehorn And The Department And This City.

Jeter Was Honored By Her Male And Female Counterparts. Her Son Matt Who She Personally Thanked For Always Supporting Her Put On Her Brand New Badge.

My Main Goal Is To Do What's Right For The Citizens Of Shreveport And For This Police Department And That Is What I Am Going To Work For

After Achieving Almost Every Possible Goal She Set For Herself In The Department, Jeter Says She Hopes To Accomplish One Last Thing
