Thanks To A Donation By The Downtown Development Authority And Eldora Do Casino; The Shreveport Police Department Have A New Security Kiosk Under The Texas Street Bridge. Officers Say The Convenient Location Will Allow Them To Respond Activity Faster And Keep A Better Watch Of Downtown.

We Deployed An Outdoor Mesh Wireless Network, These Are All Wireless Cameras. We Can Move These Cameras From One Location To Another Fairly Quickly.

Officials Said The 65,000 Dollar Cameras Would Be Moved Throughout The Area For Special Events. A Viewing System Is Set Up Inside Of The Kiosk So Officers Can Prepare Reports And Monitor The Activity Happening Throughout The Red River District.
