The Kiosk Is Not The Only Way Spd Is Providing Added Security Downtown. They Have Also Installed Surveillance Cameras In The Red District Area.
Ken Mccoy, Trusted Data Solutions
We Deployed An Outdoor Mesh Wireless Network, These Are All Wireless Cameras. We Can Move These Cameras From One Location To Another Fairly Quickly.

Officials Said The 65,000 Dollar Cameras Would Be Moved Throughout The Area For Special Events. A Viewing System Is Set Up Inside Of The Kiosk So Officers Can Prepare Reports And Monitor The Activity Happening Throughout The Red River District.

From This One We Will Be Able To Gauge The Success Rate And Also The Exact Needs That We Will Have In Other Sub-Stations Throughout The City.

Officers Will Be Moving Into The Kiosk In A Few Weeks And By That Time They Hope To Have Several Cameras Posted Up Around Area
