Over Two Thousand American Airlines Flights Have Been Cancelled Since Tuesday And Hundreds More Thursday, And Passengers Aren't Exactly Amused By The Second Round Of Sudden Safety Checks Demanded By The Federal Aviation Administration.
Gerald Cochran, An American Airlines' Passenger Said, " They Should Have Took Care Of It Earlier, But It Happens, At Least They'll Get It Fixed This Time...Hopefully."
But At Least Shreveport Regional Airport Hasn't Been Affected By The Cancellations Of The Md-80 Fleets. However, If You're Flying Into A Major Hub Like Dallas, Atlanta Or Chicago, You Could Be In For A Headache.
But Not All Passengers Are Having The Same Experiences. While Some Are Facing Not Being Able To Make It To Their Final Destination At All, Others Have Been Able To Change Their Flight Plans With Ease.
Christine Cox, An American Airlines' Passenger Said, "I Looked Online And I Saw My Flight From Dallas To L.A.Was Cancelled So I Thought I Better Call And Rebook. When I Got My Confirmation, They Had Bumped Me Up To First Class And I'm Good To Go To L.A. And I'm Happy."
Anita Hall, American Airlines' Passenger Said, "They're Not Trying To Accommodate Any Other Airlines. They Are Trying To Arrange Different Times But It's Still Not Good Enough."
The World's Largest Airline Says To Expect More Cancellations Throughout The Remainder Of The Week, And Passengers Should Know That Aa Is Offering Refunds For Cancellations.
