Law enforcement working together to fight crime

Crime seems to be running rampant over the area. From home invasions in Shreveport, to homicide in Bossier City, to DUI's all over the area, something has to be done.

While there hasn't been any one incident that has led to this; various law enforcement groups are now working together to enforce various laws.

On Friday, Shreveport Police and Louisiana State Police worked together on a DUI checkpoint to bust 4 drivers for DWI. They want to let the people know that there will be quite a few events like that one, starting this month.

On the other side of the river, Bossier City Police and Bossier Parish Sheriff now have their narcotics departments working as one, calling it a better utilization of assets.

One mother we spoke to, is all for working together, hoping to make the streets safer.
