Bossier City, LA (KMSS) — After falling into foreclosure in February of 2011, late last week a company put in an offer to acquire the Louisiana Boardwalk in Bossier City.
Ray Tromba, the Boardwalk general manager, says the sale is complete to New York firm, Garrison Investment Group.
The Garrison Group hired EWB Development as the retail leasing company and Stirling Properties was hired to manage the property.
Tromba says they are looking forward to rebranding as a true outlet mall, adding that visitors will begin to see major changes at the Boardwalk in the next 6 months.
Along with the opening of Margaritaville Casino Resort, Tromba is excited about the revitalization of the area, calling it a good day for the Boardwalk, Bossier City and the area around the Red River.
The sale price has not been released.
