Shreveport, LA — If you love pancakes then today is a great day to eat them for a good cause.
Tuesday is National Pancake Day and IHOP is offering up a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes for their dine in guests. In return they are asking customers to leave a donation for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals which includes Shriner's Hospital for Children in Shreveport.
National Pancake Day was first celebrated by IHOP in 2006 and since then, over $13 million has been raised to support charities in IHOP's local communities. Their goal this year is to raise $3 million for charity.
