Shreveport fire crews are on the scene of a house fire on Lillian Street. The blaze broke out about 1:30 this afternoon. Two women and two children were in the home at the time, but escaped after a neighbor told them they could see smoke coming from the home. Fire crews say the house suffered substantial damage. The cause remains under investigation
