Gunman shoots 1 during argument outside Shreveport store

Authorities are investigating a Shreveport shooting in which one person was injured Tuesday afternoon.

Shreveport Police said the incident happened around 12:15 p.m. in the Allendale neighborhood. The victim was shopping in Fil-A-Sak when an argument ensued with another man. The man then pulled a gun and shot the victim in his lower body area several times.

The gunman is described as a late teens, early 20's black male. He left the scene on foot in an unknown direction.

The victim was taken to a hospital with serious injuries, but is expected to survive.
