Gunfire erupts in Shreveport neighborhood, 1 hospitalized

A local man is seriously injured after he was shot multiple times in a morning shooting

At 5:21 Sunday morning, police were called to the 700 block of West 74th Street to an alleged shooting. Shreveport police arrived on scene to a man, 25-year-old Robert Guillory, who was suffering from multiple gunshots to his lower body. 

It is suspected that Guillory was sitting inside a parked car in a driveway when a person or several people opened fire on the vehicle. At least two homes in the 700 block of West 74th Street were hit by bullets. No one in either home were injured.

Guillory was taken to a local hospital with serious wounds, but are considered to be non life-threatening.

Detectives learned moments prior to the shooting, a green or blue colored SUV with dark or black wheels was seen in the area, however, it is not known if the vehicle was involved. Authorities are working at this hour to identify and apprehend the person or persons responsible for this shooting.
